In addition to Hughes Brothers home building projects David Hughes has been able to tap into another creative outlet — custom furniture. David designs and builds custom furniture to fit each client’s needs and the homes they live in. The custom furniture is made out of solid timber and designed into dining room tables, coffee tables or really anything that is requested. Many of David’s recent pieces have been built using raw edge or live edge slabs of timber. In the pictures below the timber is all live edge or raw edge maple slabs. All material is handpicked by David and purchased through a local company that salvages old timber.
